In this series of “How to” help articles, we’ll tell you how to follow/unfollow what’s relevant to you and how to add a follower to a task.
Follow/Unfollow what’s important to you
Unwanted communication not only decreases productivity but also makes you lose focus. Being able to follow/unfollow communication helps a lot in this regard.
If a particular message or task is important to you, you can follow it and see all all updates within the task. For all tasks in the Everyone team, by default all members are unfollowed. And you need to specifically go and follow any to receive any updates on it.
In the same way, you can choose to unfollow any random tasks or discussions that are not relevant to you. When you unfollow any task or topic, you will not see any updates for it. To know the latest in any unfollowed tasks/topics, you will need to specifically go and check. You can always follow back any unfollowed activity.

Add followers to a task : CC people in tasks
The CC features in emails is so great and addictive that we definitely can’t imagine working without it. Imagine being able to CC someone in a task assigned to someone else. Yes, that possible now!
In Zapty, you can add someone as a follower to any task that’s not assigned to them. By becoming a follower of that task, they will receive all updates for it and will be able to follow what’s happening for that task.
