In this series of “How to” help articles, we’ll tell you how to view other’s tasks from People list and also how to plan others’ tasks from My tasks view.
Quickly see what everyone is working on
People management is a crucial aspect of teamwork. Work can only be delegated when aware of what everyone is working on. The usual way to check entire team’s pipeline is by navigating through “My tasks” from the left pane and then clicking on the down arrow on top in the center pane and selecting “By owner” to see everyone’s tasks.
Now you can check other’s tasks and pipeline quickly from people list and also from the left pane itself. For all these scenarios, you can only see tasks that you have access to and come from common teams, discussions and 1-on-1 conversations.
So much transparency & accountability!

Plan others’ tasks and all pending work
While assigning work to others is easy, you can go one step ahead by planning tasks for them. You can do so in Zapty in a couple of ways:
- While creating a task for someone else, add a plan date by clicking on “more” in the task creation box
- By navigating to “My tasks” in the left bar and sorting the task view “By owner” by clicking on the down arrow next to “My tasks” on top. This way you will see everyone’s tasks and click on on “Plan it” for any tasks you wish to plan for anyone.
