Yaay, Projects are here … in release dated May 5, 2016

We are very excited to give you Projects in this release. We have summarized below what we have released today for the Web browser version and the Android app Zapty v1.49.151. The iOS app Zapty v1.1.1 will be released shortly (For early access to the latest iOS app, please contact us on support@zapty.com).



Yep, you can now go paid and get a more robust premium product. By default you are in the Team plan which you can upgrade to Standard, Business or Enterprise plan. But are you looking for a GREAT DEAL … then go for the Business Limited Time plan.

Okay, enough said, here is how you upgrade. Use the subscription menu in the sidebar.


You get to see the default plan you are in the Team plan


Upgrade to any of the following plans; Standard, Business or Enterprise; or we would highly recommend getting into the Business Limited Time plan.


For the Standard, Business and Enterprise you need to enter the number of users you need the subscription for and also select whether you want a Monthly or a Yearly plan.

Now, say if you want to upgrade to the Business plan then click on Upgrade, the dialog comes per-populated with the number of members in your Organization; now you need to select whether you want to go in for a Monthly or a Yearly plan.


Once selected you get the Payment Checkout dialog to fill in your address and the Credit Card details and Subscribe!

BUT.. if you want to go in for the Business Limited Time plan, you get to SKIP telling us number of users (unlimited users) and just go for it…

Let’s spice it up with Projects!

Okay so you need to get going with creating a project for your team, for a start we give you a basic workflow with stages – New, In Progress, Done.

Here is where you start


You get to configure the Folder and Select our default Workflow


Add a Team to the Project


Give Member access to the team


Click on Create and here is what you see; the default Project Tasks view


Go ahead create tasks in the blue (New) stage


Move across stages from the Task Detail


See an audit trail every time a stage changes


Mark it complete as any other task


Here is what you now see if you click on the Projects option on the sidebar again. Projects wil be categorized based on the Folders you setup for yourself / team.


Folks, this is just the preview.

You will soon get to add your own stages; add action items to each stage which would get triggered when a task moves to this stage. You will also get to add a pre-defined checklist to the Task. If you have a custom workflow then you will get to create your own workflow. And lots more in the works.

Did you send out a wrong message, go ahead edit it!

You can now edit a message if wrongly sent, and yes it does keep a record of the history of edits so don’t worry.

The menu option to Edit


On click of Edit you get the dialog to Edit


Click Okay and message is changed


Click on the link to view history


You get to see the Edit History



Click / Tap on a Person’s Profile Picture for Options!

Valuable user feedback prompted us to give you an option to bring up People/Person related menu on tap of the Person’s profile picture



Bookmark a Discussion or a Team / One on One conversation to access it on the desktop as a shortcut!

Ability to bookmark a conversation, clicking on bookmark will automatically open that conversation; in browser on desktop or in mobile app on the phone.

For a Person tap on Profile Picture for Menu option ‘Copy Bookmark’
